Tejas Volleyball

Tejas Volleyball will be holding two Parent Information Meetings prior to tryouts. The first is on Monday, October 18th from 7:00-8:30pm. The second is on Wednesday, October 20th from 7:00-8:30pm. Some of the items that will be discussed during the Parent Information Meetings will be: club philosophy, team structure, coaching staff, tournament schedules, practice schedules, tryout dates and format, performance training, and dues. Although it is not mandatory to attend one of these meetings, WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO ATTEND!! Both meetings are identical.  Click HERE to see specific tryout dates by age group.

The Tejas Volleyball Club will offer it's 3rd season of Pre-Club Volleyball - a program designed for 4th-6th grade athletes wanting to take their volleyball game to the next level.  This program bridges the gap between rec-league volleyball and competitive club volleyball.  We have also designed this program so that it will not interfere with prior commitments to a rec-league team you might be palying on.  Our pre-club program emphasizes the technical aspects of volleyball in a fun, non-threatening environment.  The program consists of 2 distinct features - Monday/Wednesday practice sessions and Friday League games.  Practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays (5:30pm-7:00pm), starting September 13th and ending October 20th.  League games will be held on Friday evenings (6:00pm-8:00pm), starting September 24th and ending October 22nd (5 Friday nights).  Once you are in the program and after a few practices, we will group the girls into teams for the Friday Night League games.  The cost of the program (all practices, league games, and uniform) is $300.  Click HERE to register for this fun and exciting program!

The Itsy Bitsy Spikers Program will return to Tejas Volleyball on Sunday Evenings, starting September 12th.  This is one of our most popular programs, designed to introduce beginner volleyball players (grades 1-4) to the fundamental skills of volleyball.  This session will run for 4 consecutive Sundays from 5:00pm-6:30pm.  The cost of the 4 week program is $60.  The program will consist of instructional drills and coach-controlled volleyball games.  This program has been an excellent introduction to the game of volleyball in a positive environment!!  Program dates will be: September 12, 19, 26, and October 3.  Click HERE to register for Itsy Bitsy Spikers!

Tejas Volleyball announces the return of the Saturday All-Skills Camp Series!  These Saturday all-day camps are an exciting camp offering that will expose athletes to all the skills needed to be a successful volleyball player!  The camp will run from 9:00am-3:00pm on Saturday.  Lunch will be provided at the Zuroma Italian Grill located inside our volleyball facility.  These All-Skills camps have traditionally been our most popular camps, and now we are offering them on Saturdays!  The camps will be designed for athletes in grades 6-9.  Like all of our skill camps, athletes will be divided by age/ability to ensure a proper training environment.  Camp instructors will include Dan Sedwick, Kevin Anderson, Michele Furlong, Trent Sorensen and many others!
