Aja Haley is a TEJAS Volleyball product, having played her entire club career within the program and developing into a versatile athlete as both a setter and libero. Her background gives her a strong connection to the TEJAS system and a clear understanding of long-term player development.

Aja brings five years of club coaching experience and is currently in her third season as a Head Coach at TEJAS. Throughout her coaching career, every team she has led has qualified for Regionals, consistently competing at a high level and pushing toward national qualification. Prior to TEJAS, she coached at Austin Juniors, where she began developing her approach to athlete development and team culture.

She continued her playing career on the Texas State Women’s club team as a libero and prior to that, played at Grapevine High School. Her experience playing multiple positions allows her to provide detailed, position-specific training, particularly for liberos and setters, with an emphasis on technique, decision-making, and game IQ.

Aja’s coaching philosophy focuses on developing the complete athlete. She emphasizes strong fundamentals, confidence, accountability, and resilience, while creating a positive and competitive environment where players can grow and enjoy the game. Her coaching reflects a balance of structure, energy, and genuine investment in her athletes’ success.

Outside of volleyball, Aja is a practicing attorney, bringing discipline, preparation, and professionalism to everything she does on and off the court.
