TEJAS INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
The safety of our athletes, families, coaches, and staff is always our top priority.
TEJAS Volleyball will generally follow the weather-related closure and cancellation decisions made by the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District (HEB ISD). If HEB ISD closes schools, cancels after-school activities, or dismisses students early because of inclement weather or unsafe travel conditions, TEJAS practices, clinics, lessons, and other scheduled activities may also be canceled or postponed.
Because weather and road conditions can vary throughout the area—and may change after HEB ISD has made its decision—TEJAS reserves the right to make an independent determination regarding the safety of operating the facility and holding scheduled activities.

Please check our social media pages before leaving for the gym during periods of inclement weather. When TEJAS remains open, parents and guardians should use their best judgment based on the conditions in their area. Athletes will not be penalized for missing an activity when travel is considered unsafe.
Canceled practices or activities may be rescheduled when facility availability and team schedules allow; however, make-up sessions are not guaranteed.
