Philip Anderson is an original member of the TEJAS Volleyball staff and holds the honorary title of Director Emeritus, recognizing his lasting impact on the program and its foundation. His leadership and presence have been instrumental in shaping the culture and growth of TEJAS since its early years.

Prior to TEJAS, Philip was the owner and director of North Texas Boys Volleyball Club, where he led one of the premier boys volleyball programs in the region. A native of California, he grew up playing the game and has spent a lifetime around volleyball, bringing a deep understanding and appreciation for the sport.

Philip is known throughout the gym for his connection with athletes. He has a unique ability to build relationships, and players naturally gravitate toward him, valuing both his encouragement and his perspective. While he often jokes about retiring, he continues to return to the gym, driven by his passion for the game and the enjoyment he finds in watching athletes grow and improve.

His experience, wisdom, and presence remain a meaningful part of the TEJAS environment, contributing to a culture that values both development and relationships.
