Sean Turner brings over 20 years of coaching experience in the North Texas Region and is widely respected for his ability to develop athletes in a positive, structured environment. His coaching style combines encouragement and energy with a strong emphasis on technical training, allowing players to build confidence while improving the details of their game.
Sean has coached at the club level for more than two decades and previously served as an assistant coach at Weatherford College. He also founded and operated Volleylab for three years, further demonstrating his commitment to growing the game and developing athletes. In addition, he has worked numerous high school camps across the DFW area, extending his impact throughout the volleyball community.
Throughout his career, Sean has trained and helped place numerous athletes into collegiate volleyball programs, including his daughter, who currently competes at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He is Gold Medal Squared certified and brings a detailed, fundamentals-based approach to training that prepares athletes for success at the next level.
As a player, Sean competed for 10 years at the USA Volleyball Adult Open National Championships, giving him valuable high-level playing experience that supports his coaching perspective.
